Frames-Direct.com is committed to maintaining the privacy of our customer information. When you place an order with Frames-Direct.com, we collect and store the information you share-name, address, credit card and phone numbers- along with information about products you request. All of this information is kept in a secure file and is used for our communications to you.
We do not share, sell or trade email address or specific details about purchases; nor do we release credit card, financial or survey data for marketing use by other companies. All of your information is kept secure and used to process your order and not for any other purposes. We do not participate in or contribute to shared databases that give other companies access to information. We do provide our shippers with the information they need to complete your order, such as name and address.
We use UPS for the majority of our small outbound orders, if your order is slightly larger than UPS will allow we can select a competitively priced common carrier for quick delivery. We’ve secured aggressive discounts from our freight suppliers to handle these situations. Most in stock orders will ship within 1-2 days, for custom orders please check with your salesperson for a completion date. Our web site will tabulate your shipping cost as part of your order, please allow for some variance depending on how the frames are packed.
Return and Refund Policy
Defective Merchandise - Frames-Direct accepts full responsibility for returns of defective merchandise, unless the defect was stated in the product’s description. An example of this would be a scratched styrene facing that is discovered after the protective film on it is peeled. Provided the item was sold as first quality we will replace the item free of cost or refund the customer’s full payment including shipping costs as is requested. (In the case of a bad facing, we would replace just the facing if the customer was otherwise satisfied with the frame.) We may ask that you return the item, if so, we will e-mail you with the request and we will pay for the shipping to return the item, often it is not worth the shipping cost on a defective item to ship it back so please do not return it unless we have specifically requested that you do so.
Damaged Goods - Sometimes our products are damaged in shipping. Normally what we do is reship the product out to you free of charge and have UPS reimburse us for the damaged item. In this case you would keep the damaged item so that UPS can document the damage if necessary.
Inspect your frames carefully if you see any damage to the outer carton. If the package is dropped often the corners on the frame will separate, broken styrene is also a sign of careless handling. You can also refuse a shipment if you notice damage to the exterior of the box.
Oops, I ordered the wrong size - If you made a mistake in sizing your frame, (all of our frames are sized by inner dimension, which is the size of your item to be framed), we will accept a return and will refund your merchandise total after we receive the goods. We do not refund shipping if you make a mistake or change your mind.
Closeout Corner - No returns on closeout items.
Order Errors - If we send you the wrong product we will take full responsibility for replacement or refund. Remember, our frames are sized by inner dimension (poster size), not outer dimension.
